Who we are
The Myo-Care National Foundation is the first NGO in Egypt dedicated to the care and cure of muscular dystrophy. We are a non-profit disease foundation founded in 2019 by a passionate group of national and international experts in muscular dystrophy. The foundation does not solicit funding from patients or other sources.
The Foundation’s mission is to cure muscular dystrophies.
The Foundation focused strategy includes funding and actively monitoring the progress of scientific research projects in key pathways towards a cure and encouraging collaboration among scientists.
In 2021 Myo-Care established the muscular dystrophy medical center in partnership with the NGU community hospital in Saida Aisha, to provide the essential resources and experts for better care and patient management.
مؤسسة ضمور العضلات هي مؤسسة غير ربحية لأمراض ضمور العضلات تأسست في عام 2019 من قبل مجموعة شغوفة تضم مجموعة من الخبراء في امراض ضمور العضلات وأولياء أمور مرضى، أملاً في توفير السبل اللازمة لتوفير العلاج والمساعدة في نشر الوعي في المجتمع.

تتضمن الاستراتيجية للمؤسسة هي دعم البحث العلمي في المسارات الرئيسية نحو العلاج ، وتشجيع التعاون بين العلماء و الاطباء في مصر لتوفير افضل رعاية للمرضى
في ٢٠٢١ تم الاتفاق مع المستشفى الخيري بالسيدة نفيسة على انشاء المركز الطبي المتخصص لرعاية و تشخيص المرضى مجانا تحت اشراف المؤسسة
